Simple Home Staging Tips To Sell
Use these simple home staging tips to sell or rent your home fast:
- Make it bright – lights on, blinds / curtains open (turn on all the lights even the outside ones so the agent doesn’t have to look for switches.
- Mirrors – make areas appear larger (don’t use these on the entrance wall facing the door, people do not like walking into a place and see themselves staring back 🙂 )
- Always use neutral colours when painting
- If using candles for ambiance, use battery powered scented – zero fire hazard
- Keep driveways and walkways clear of garbage – especially in winter with snow and ice
- Keep temperature comfortable according to season (use a programmable thermostat to reduce heating and a/c overnight and early morning)
- Keep toilet LIDS down
- Close all closet doors
