Andrei Angelkovski from Beach Investing in Toronto took time out of his busy schedule to interview Donna Ragona at one of her latest projects in the Toronto “Beaches” district. They chat all about the tips of staging a minimal condo-space and how to make it all work! Check out the video here
Suite Design recently had the pleasure of staging a condo in downtown Toronto. The great view made this job extra enjoyable!
A combination of real and cardboard furniture was used for this staging project. The living room/dining room and den area had real furniture. In the bedroom, we used the cardboard furniture. We also staged the balcony to highlight the great view which is a total selling feature. Some patio furniture was used as well as some fall mums where planted.

The premiere publication Canadian Real Estate Magazine features Donna Ragona of SuiteDesign in the latest July 2011 issue. Donna discusses many of the opportunities staging does for Real Estate investors specifically and offers tips that will help anyone prepare their property for renting and/or selling. We have the first issue off the presses before it’s released to the newsstands (as of this writing) and you can read the full article right here: CREMAG-SD-July-2011 (we’ll get a high res copy soon enough, for now it’s scanned right from the magazine)
This presentation first debuted at the Real Estate Investment Network and it was such a success the Property Show executives asked Donna to repeat it for their event.
Staging is fast becoming popular among home-owners who want to sell their properties for more money but real estate investors have yet to grasp the concept (and the cost) of staging their properties.
Donna insists (with proof) that staging will increase your property’s ability to get noticed and that it will rent or sell faster for more money.
SuiteDesign is the only company in Ontario delivering such complete, inexpensive staging solutions to real estate investors and home owners. Real Estate agents have caught wind of SuiteDesign and are utilizing both Donna’s consultation, design and staging credentials for their clients.
SuiteDesign was featured at the Property Show April 30th. Knowledge Syndications’ Kelly Lanteigne, Annie Kue and Serena Ly asked Donna to make the show warm and inviting making it the first time a show of this magnitude was professionally ‘staged’.
Here are some shots of SuiteDesign’s exclusive corrugated furniture in the conference area.
Long time running Coronation Street on CBC set up a special gala event called An Audience with the Croppers at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga April 21.
The event was to give the 50-year-old British drama fans the inside scoop on the ‘wedding’ of Roy and Haylay Cropper (played by David Neilson and Julie Hesmondhalgh).
Event coordinators called Donna Ragona personally to provide the comfort for the actors and stage props.
Every job is unique and we are very happy to have been included with this event! Here are a few more pics from the event.
Every April the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) holds the ACRE (Authentic Canadian Real Estate System) event in Toronto hosting more than 550 focused Real Estate investors for the entire weekend.
We attended this event and have to congratulate the entire REIN team for keeping the intensity up for those long hours and delivering what no other Real Estate Networking event does….and that is: the truth; eliminating the seminar-sell so widely associated with these types of events.
Proudly, SuiteDesign works with REIN members offering true value to staging their investment properties. We have to say the climax of the weekend for us was the moment Don R. Campbell, president of REIN spoke about Donna Ragona and dubbed her the “Queen of Staging”, thanks Don!!!
Here’s a pic of the massive crowd
Last night April 11, 2011, Donna & SuiteDesign were showcased on ‘In Tune with Real Estate’ with Rav Toor discussing the main reasons everyone should be staging their properties. From living to selling to renting, staging will help in specific ways.
We’ll have the entire segment posted here soon, but for now…here are the shots from the production room making sure everything is perfect for air!
This was so much fun and we look forward to more appearances from Donna very soon!
In Tune With Real Estate host Rav Toor welcomes Donna Ragona from SuiteDesign Monday April 11, 2011 LIVE in studio to chat about the importance of staging ANY property. Donna will give expert advice on how to specifically stage properties for maximum potential and highlight key areas you absolutely MUST stage.
For Real Estate investors, this will be a very important topic to watch as Donna and Joey Ragona (of JDR Investments and The Engaged Investor) will explain how and why staging a rental property can help attract the best client and assist with demanding more rent.
More details to follow – Have your PVR set for Monday April 11, 2011.
In less than two weeks, a home Donna staged in Kitchener, Ontario sold 5 thousand dollars over asking after a bidding war. This truly is the power of staging. Not only that, the vendor asked to “keep the house staged in case the buyers come back and see the house differently without the furniture.”
